Midtown Rising Co-Sponsors Midtown Loves Kids Fundraiser and Bazaar!

Posted on Updated on

Good evening, Risers!

Thank you to everyone who turned out for the Midtown Loves Kids Fundraiser and Bazaar today at Clinton Ave. United Methodist Church! Clinton Avenue does so much to support our community and it was a privilege to be able to give back today and say thank you.

I’m including a couple of photos from the event today that I managed to snap with my phone – if you want more pics, check and (and be sure to “like”) Caring Hands Soup Kitchen’s photo album on facebook. Special thanks to everyone who made today possible, including DJ Wavy Davy, Kingston Police Department, Kingston Fire Department, Local Economies’ Farm Hub, the volunteers from Saint James UMC and, most importantly, the good people of Clinton Avenue United Methodist Church!

Don’t forget: next Midtown Rising meeting is this coming Wednesday, August 19th at 6:30pm at Clinton Avenue UMC. We hope to see you there!

With Big Midtown Love,

Dear Jordan, You left me a message awhile ago about getting involved in Midtown Rising. I’ve been traveling a bunch this summer and I’m so sorry I haven’t returned your call yet! I would still like to meet and see how I might fit in, but I will have to wait until mid-September when my traveling ceases. I typically work in Poughkeepsie M-F, 9-5 so I’m not back in Kingston until 6 most days. I should be around on the weekends beginning Sept. 12. Let me know if you want to set-up a meeting, or schedule a phone call. Thanks and I hope you’re enjoying the summer!
